If you think that wine castes are serious and very technical, you don't know the sommelier Cati Bustillo and the stand-up comedian Mr. Wine Cotano and their show Entre Risas y Vinos . A sensory experience that will allow you to discover the world of wine in a didactic and above all fun way.

It will be at Los Chispos Restaurant , where we will learn to taste a wine in a different way, surrounded by good DOP Yecla wines and unique tapas made by Los Chispos.

Due to covid-19, the Tinta Night will have to be enjoyed sitting down, so we have decided to make three types of reservations:

Pack of tables for 6 people

Individual reservations, where we will be grouping in tables of 8 and 6 people.

The price per person will be 30 euros , it includes dinner and the Entre Risas y Vinos show.

The only wine awarded by the Yecla PDO in the III Edition of the Alicante Gastronomic Fair

Last September the celebration of the III Edition of the Alicante Gastronomic Fair took place at IFA - Alicante Fair Institute, a meeting of Mediterranean lifestyle in which the wines and cuisine of Barahonda were present.

In the place, different activities were carried out, such as gastronomic experiences or a wine contest. The contest consisted of 24 experts from the Valencian Community and Murcia, as well as national tasters and prestigious sommeliers; a jury that has qualified 148 references of the DOP Alicante, DO Valencia, DO Utiel-Requena, DOP Yecla, DOP Jumilla, DOP Bulla and the IGP Castelló.

A total of 38 wineries have been awarded 21 gold and 32 silver medals as producers of the best wines in the 1st Mediterranean Wine Contest. Our Barahonda Barrica 2019 wine has been awarded a silver medal, being the only wine that has been awarded the Yecla PDO.

The 2021 National Folklore Festival "Ciudad de Yecla" will take place next Saturday, September 4, starting at 8:00 p.m., in the Yecla Bullring . On this occasion the Choirs and Dances of Lorca , Choirs and Dances of Jumilla and Choirs and Dances of Yecla of the Regional Association "Francisco Salzillo" will participate. This activity is organized by the Department of Culture, with the collaboration of the Choirs and Dances of Yecla of the Regional Association "Francisco Salzillo" and the Yecla Wine Route.
