On the weekend of Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November 2021, the Yecla Wine Route (Murcia) organizes the X Wine Tourism Gala, the Red Night and the Wine Bus on the occasion of World Wine Tourism Day.

Everything is already underway to toast together. The Yecla Wine Route (Murcia), together with the City Council and the areas of Tourism, Culture and Celebrations of Yecla, has prepared a very special weekend on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November in commemoration of World Wine Tourism Day .

After this difficult time due to the global pandemic, wine tourism and oil tourism are once again consolidating in Yecla (Murcia), where a harvest of about 9 million kilos is expected in 2021. Through the universe that surrounds its wines – the 'Yecla denomination of origin' dates back to 1972 – the city offers a unique experience of culture, history, nature and gastronomy. The Yecla Wine Route has four wineries (Barahonda, Bodegas Castaño, La Purísima and Bodegas Evine), the Almazara Deortegas and about twenty restaurants and rural accommodation located among vineyards where the charismatic and delicious Monastrell grape reigns. In the surroundings, there are also archaeological sites, a Roman winery from the 1st and 3rd centuries AD and the imposing Mount Arabí, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Very attractive plans to enjoy the great wine tourism that Spain offers.

November 12 and 13: great weekend for World Wine Tourism Day

On the occasion of World Wine Tourism Day (November 8), an initiative of the European Network of Wine Cities (RECEVIN) to which Rutas del Vino España and the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) have joined, the Ruta del Vino de Yecla (Murcia) once again organizes a great party with various events.

Very attentive to the weekend of November 12 and 13, 2021. Intense agenda... On Friday, November 12 at 8:30 p.m. at the Concha Segura Theater in Yecla, the "X Wine Tourist Nomination Gala" will be held, which this year pays tribute to various groups and people who have stood out for their help and solidarity in times of pandemic. A gala presented by the journalist Jorge García Palomo with live music and the participation of the international comic book illustrator Salva Espín.

Remember that to attend the Gala you only have to make a reservation at the Yecla tourist office: +34 968 754 104 or by sending an email to , it is free but the capacity must be controlled by COVID19

The famous and prestigious Murcian cartoonist who works for Marvel brings a surprise to the Yecla Wine Route within a dynamic and creative ceremony that seeks to unite emotion with entertainment. A choral toast of hope. An award for the superheroes of the pandemic and a look at the future celebrating life.

And on Saturday, November 13, among other plans, the popular Wine Bus and the emblematic Noche Tinta return, a dinner-‐pairing at Los Chispos restaurant, guided this time with the show "Between Laughter and Wines." A sensory, educational and fun experience. Questions: Would you like to learn how to taste a wine? Do you want to have good wines and tapas with friends? Do you dare with the "wine-‐ laughter therapy" (with the sommelier Cati Bustillo and the monologue of Mr. Wine Cotano)? Affirmative answer, right? This is the Red Night in Yecla.

Because wine tourism experiences are always accompanied by a good mood. +INFO: Ink Night 2021
