Ruta del Vino de Yecla in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of Yecla and PDO of Yecla organized "The Envero de la Monastrell" on June 16 and 17.
It's a party on the occasion of Envero de la #monastrell. "The veraison is a term that refers to the transition between the growth of the grape and its maturation and its main characteristic is that they begin to 'paint' the grapes ( Wikipedia ). This seems like a magical moment to celebrate. The process takes place in the summer and can be considered the beginning of a countdown that allows to calculate the time of the harvest, which takes place approximately two months later. In the same way, the Wine Route of Yecla wants to welcome a new stage and summer, developing an activity that we will try, once again, to leave no one indifferent, "says Juan Pedro Castaño, president of the Wine Route of Yecla.
There will be cinema, exhibition of paintings on barrels, live music, raffles and tasting of wines and tapas.

10:00 to 14:00 Esplanade of San Francisco. Exhibition x week of Art: "Exhibition of painting on barrels". Appreciate live how Yecla artists paint on barrels. Everything a show! You can see the final result as an afternoon exhibition at 20 in the Parque de la Constitución.

Each day there will be 3 raffles among the participants to the tasting of wines and tapas. In the 1st prize will be: 4 tapas + 2 wines in the establishments of the Wine Route of Yecla, a second prize a batch of products of the Yecla Wine Route and a third prize: one night accommodation in the Rural Houses of the Wine Route of Yecla.
