Millésime Bio took place on February 22, 2021, a contest that is held in Montpellier, France, and this year has modified the scheduled tasting dates due to the situation of the pandemic and to adapt and comply with the protocol and sanitary measures.

The 10th Wine and Tapa Route, for obvious reasons, this year will have to delay its execution date in its traditional format, so instead, the Yecla Wine Route in collaboration with the Yecla City Council and the Regulatory Council of the DO Yecla , proposes the Wine and Tapa Route "Home edition" , an innovative contest where you will be in charge of proposing the perfect pairing, sending us your tapas proposal paired with a wine from the four associated wineries (Barahonda , Bodegas Castaño, Evine and La Purísima).

From the Yecla Wine Route Association, we want to express our most sincere words of congratulations to Doña Concha Palao Poveda , Professor of Geography and History, who will become the first woman to be appointed as an official chronicler of Yecla .

Yesterday the Councilor for Tourism, Jesús Verdú , announced this news in which the city of Yecla had been included in the route of the National Pilgrimage Road to Caravaca de la Cruz , a path known as the Camino de la Vera Cruz. that begins in Roncesvalles and ends in the Holy City of Murcia. This runs through five autonomous communities and more than ninety municipalities. Path whose axis and objective is focused on the pilgrimage of the next Jubilee Year 2024 .
