Last Sunday, September 30, took place in the municipality of Bullas one of the most prominent events to develop within the framework of its Wine Fair 2018: the Inauguration of the Source of Wine, the traditional stepped of the grape and the Blessing of the First Mosto.
To this act was invited the City Council of Yecla, as a municipality associated with Wine Routes of Spain, the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin of Yecla and Wine Route of Yecla.
The framework of activities took place on Sunday morning, and as a representation of the culture, wines and municipality of Yecla was Jesús Verdú, institutional representation by the City Council of Yecla, Juan Pedro Castaño, President of the Wine Route Association of Yecla , Antonio Ortuño, President of the Federation of Peñas de San Isidro, along with the Queens and a representation of the Ladies of San Isidro, and David Azorín, representing the Denomination of Origin Yecla wines.
As Juan Pedro Castaño indicated: "This invitation highlights the close collaboration of two municipalities that have a tradition and a history linked to wine, Wine Routes that also share at a Regional level a working table with the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia in charge of promoting regional wine tourism and give the deserved visibility to this tourist product on the rise ".
