The Escuadra Minerva celebrates the sixth edition of its oenological contest "Fiestas de la Virgen" of? #? Yecla?

The councilor of culture and celebrations, Jesus Verdú has attended the presentation of the sixth edition of the Enological Certificate "Festivities of the Virgin" which is held on Saturday November 21 organized by the Minerva Squad, with the assistance of Jose Luis Soriano, on behalf of this squad and the president of Rutas del Vino Yecla, Juan Pedro Castaño, entity that participates in the organization.

There is also the collaboration of the Wine Designation of Origin Regulating Council of Yecla, the Association of Mayordomos de la Purísima Concepción and the City Council of Yecla.

On November 21, from 11:00 hours, in the tasting room of the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Yecla, the contest of amateur tasters will be conducted by Javier López Lorenzo, winemaker and technician of the DO Regulatory Council Yecla.

At 12 noon, a Master Class is held, aimed at restaurants and wine bars in Yecla, at the Furniture Fair, given by Pablo González-Conejero, chef and owner of the Murcia restaurant "La Cabaña Buenavista", the only restaurant in the region awarded with a Michelin Star.

From 6:00 pm, at the Church of San Francisco, Pablo González-Conejero will give a lecture and then proceed to the delivery of trophies and cash prizes to the winners of the contest of tasters held in the morning.

Finally a tasting of paired wines will be carried out. You will taste wines from Bodegas Castaño, La Purísima, Señorío de Barahonda and Evine.
