Hécula 2015 has been the winner of the MEDAL DE ORO in the prestigious and most important wine contest in Korea: The Korea Wine Challenge 2017. This 100% Monastrell with a light passage in cask of 6 months, is one of the wines icon of the elaborated by the Castaño Family in the Yecla Denomination of Origin, besides being one of the first monovarietals with our autochthonous variety that really implied a before and after in the way of interpreting this grape for its vinification. A modern-style wine, an explosion of ripe fruit, with the softness and elegance demanded by the market, hence its international success, with presence in more than 42 countries, where it continues to receive its deserved recognition.
This gold medal now adds to those already obtained since its launch in March 2017 and that we summarize here:
