This weekend Yecla celebrates the festival of San Blas where the protagonist is also the sweet "bread blessed" made exclusively for the occasion.
This party dates from the 16th century and is always lived by the neighbors with enthusiasm and every year thousands of people parade in procession with their benidos bread and their "pajaricas".
Another act that unites the neighborhood is the lighting of the bonfire in front of the Santo's niche.
