The prestigious wine magazine Decanter, has awarded in its annual contest the bronze medal to the church Iglesia Vieja Crianza 2014, from Bodegas La Purísima. This award is a boost to the iconic Yeclano wine that also launches this year's label.

Last Saturday May 13 was held at Zenia Boulevard, one of the most peculiar and original events around the world of wine in the Region of Murcia: "I Wine Fair of the Region of Murcia." This event brought together the three Wine Routes of the Region, which had their space to inform visitors of the shopping center about Enotourism in our area. All this in a splendid setting, set by musical animations and live tastings.

On Friday, May 19, the Dop Yecla San Isidro Wine Quality Contest 2017 was held, this being the X edition of the same, in which the Yecla Protected Designation of Origin puts the quality level of its wines to the test, to be able to select those elaborations that are more outstanding, for this the organization of the Contest always bet to incorporate prestigious professionals who contribute their wisdom and experience to the tasting panel, specialized journalists, winemakers and sommeliers.

The ecological wine Old Hands Oak 2015 from Bodegas La Purísima has won the gold medal in the "Challenge International du Vin" contest. The tastings of this contest were held on April 21 and 22 in Bordeaux (France). More than 5,000 wines from 37 countries were tasted by nearly 700 tasters.

Next May 20 in the Parque de la Constitución starting at 1:00 pm we will celebrate the MOVIMIENTO VINO DO DAY, an event that will be held in 24 DO of Spanish wines simultaneously. It is an action promoted by the Spanish Conference of Wine Regulatory Councils.

With the collaboration of the City Council and the PDO Yecla wineries on Saturday, May 20, we will celebrate an event whose objective is to bring wine with Denomination of Origin to the general public, it will be a festive, popular and participative day, in the to enjoy and get closer to discover the wine with DO
