Bar La Bodega is a traditional underground wine cellar located on San Ramón Street in Yecla. A historic space, built in the last third of the 19th century, which preserves its original structure and has operated as a bar since 1977. Its wood-fired kitchen and warm atmosphere make it a welcoming place, especially during the winter months.

Description
Open in the afternoon and evening, Bar La Bodega is a key reference for tasting wines from the Yecla Designation of Origin, with an extensive wine list to complement its gastronomic offering. Close to celebrating its 50th anniversary, the establishment has evolved over time without losing its essence, becoming a regular meeting point in the city.
Among its most notable dishes are the wood-fired potato omelette, potatoes served “al montón” with fried eggs, traditional michirones (seasoned broad beans), grilled goat’s cheese, and dried cod (capellán) with tomato. In season, it is also a must-stop to enjoy snails.
The offer is completed by its local cured-meat montaditos, which customers can personalise to suit their taste. Under new management, Bar La Bodega keeps its warm and homely spirit fully intact, respecting the tradition and character that have always defined it.
