The name Yakka pays tribute to the historical roots of Yecla, whose original name during the Muslim period was recorded in Arabic sources as “Hisn Yakka”, referring to its origin as a fortress built during the second half of the 11th century.
Inspired by this connection with the past, each of our three apartments bears a name that reflects the identity and unique character of the region:
- Adriano, in reference to the area’s rich Roman heritage.
- Arabí, evoking the imposing, magical and legendary mountain.
- Altiplano, a tribute to the natural and cultural landscape that defines this land.
