Oleoturismo: La floración del Olivo

This 29 May we are committed to a different kind of olive oil tourism, focused on getting to know what is most essential to us: The olive tree. On this occasion, our Hoya Hermosa estate becomes a tasting room for a day.

We propose a walking tour among olive trees, in an environment of singular beauty and coinciding with one of the most spectacular moments of the olive grove: the flowering, the Almazara Deortegas team will guide you on a stimulating tour for the senses, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the extra virgin olive oil and nature. Get to know the place where it all begins, our roots, our way of understanding organic olive growing. A unique experience that will give you a new perspective on extra virgin olive oil, a fundamental pillar of our Mediterranean diet.

We will walk through the olive trees on a comfortable route of about 2.5 km, where we will be able to appreciate the visible differences of each variety, we will talk about traditional and organic cultivation and the different stages through which the olive tree passes; and, of course, we will finish the tour with a tasting and bread with Deortegas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The tasting will take place outside, keeping a safe distance, complying with the preventive health measures of Covid-19.
