Yecla has its roots in viticulture and winemaking, a fact that has marked its landscape, its culture and the personality of its people. Our Denomination of Origin is formed only with the lands of the municipality of Yecla.
A municipality that treasures several archaeological sites, Mount Arabí, declared a World Heritage Site in 1988 by UNESCO, an Archaeological Museum where a bust of the Emperor Hadrian stands dating from the 2nd century. and the Basilica de la Purísima, one of the most important architectural buildings of the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, in which it is worth highlighting its great dome of white and blue tiles. All this without forgetting the Castle Sanctuary, a place from where you can admire some of the best views of our municipality.
And is that one of the best ways to discover the tradition, cultural diversity and natural treasures of our municipality is through its wine tourism
For this reason, and in gratitude to the great work carried out by the Murcian Health Service
