Participants of the month of July have found the Azorín text mosaic that was proposed for that month. It is located in the Arch of Isabel la Católica, in Calle Iglesia, 24. One participant sends us a photograph showing the exact location of the mosaic.
It must be said that this first contest starts with some really wonderful photos.

The arch that has traditionally been considered commemorative of the passage of Queen Isabella I of Castile by the Villa de Yecla on August 4, 1488. In reality it is a constructive element that came to differentiate two distinct urban areas: the Jewish quarter and the Christian neighborhood. Next to the Arch is a neo-Gothic style niche that we could date at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Its interior contains an image of San Blas , whose devotion in Yecla goes back to the end of the 16th century. We invite you to visit it

Here you have the photograph of the participants who have sent the correct answer and the winners of this month that have been:

  • Eduardo with some tapas
  • Natalia with a batch of wine bottles from Bodegas la Purísima
