Barahonda Summun 2015, with a great gold medal, and Barahonda Organic Barrica 2015, with a gold medal, were the Barahonda wines that were awarded in Vinespaña 2018, a competition that took place last Thursday in Jerez de la Frontera, organized by the Federation Spanish Association of Winemakers (FEAE).
The jury was constituted by a panel of experts with a wide representation of relevant winemakers from all over the country, specialized journalists and other qualified professionals in the wine sector. Forty of the most important tasters in Spain, mostly winemakers belonging to this federation, were divided into 6 juries who tasted about 60 wines each.
The samples presented were 380 wines, with 24 awarded with a great gold medal and 58 with a gold medal. The quality of the wines and the work of the professional of the
enology that elaborates it with the three best wine scores for each category: Gran VINESPAÑA de Oro, VINESPAÑA de Oro and VINESPAÑA de Plata.
