Yesterday, the act of delivery of three wine barrels donated by the Wine Route Association of Yecla in favor of the Ecological Garden of Ampy , whose main objective is to raise funds for the acquisition and improvement of work tools and infrastructure. The event took place in the facilities of Ampy, where the president of the Wine Route Association of Yecla, Juan Pedro Castaño, has delivered the works of art.

This contribution has been made thanks to the First Outdoor Barrel Intervention Contest , an activity organized by Yecla Wine Route within the framework of activities scheduled for the "Envero de la Monastrell", held on July 6 and 7 in the Constitution Park.

The event was attended by: Ruta del Vino, Juan Pedro Castaño , president of the association and Rubén Soriano , coordinator of the same ; while on the part of Ampy has been Laura Ortega , director of the Day Center , Carmen Vicente , vice president of the association and Eliecer Soriano , agricultural engineer and coordinator of the Huerto , among others.

Juan Pedro Castaño has stressed the importance of collaboration between different local associations, a link that we must promote more to achieve a cooperative that we often miss. An example of this is a donation that "we believe can be the beginning of many other joint actions".

For its part, the vice president of Ampy, Carmen Vicente, thanked not only the donation of these barrels but the interest shown by the Wine Route Association of Yecla. With the sale of these barrels, it has been possible to reach the maximum threshold that Ampy had set, thus acquiring all the necessary material to expand and improve its facilities.

As for the barrels, these are the works of art made by Noelia García Lidó, Isabel Medina Martínez, Mateo Gil García, Pedro García Pérez and Irene Ortega Molina.
