The 2021 National Folklore Festival "Ciudad de Yecla" will take place next Saturday, September 4, starting at 8:00 p.m., in the Yecla Bullring . On this occasion the Choirs and Dances of Lorca , Choirs and Dances of Jumilla and Choirs and Dances of Yecla of the Regional Association "Francisco Salzillo" will participate. This activity is organized by the Department of Culture, with the collaboration of the Choirs and Dances of Yecla of the Regional Association "Francisco Salzillo" and the Yecla Wine Route.
The Folklore Festival will begin with a staging of the grape tread and extraction of the first must . A symbolic act with which the wines of this new vintage will be welcomed, an act that will be accompanied by a group toast with all attendees.
General admission will be priced at 2 euros , and entrance to the arena area where tables and chairs are available will be 3 euros. This area will also have glasses and a bottle of wine to participate in the collective toast.
Tickets are on sale at the Concha Segura theater box office from Tuesday, August 31 to Friday, August 3 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and in the Plaza de Toros, from 7:00 p.m. to the start of the event .
